Graveyard Ghost Run
Graveyard Ghost Run: an endless runner through a foggy cartoon graveyard on Halloween night. You ride a broomstick (or run) along a winding path, dodging tombstones, bats and jumping over open fences, collecting candy for points. Speed slowly increases. Big full moon, orange lanterns, purple fog. HUD with candy score and best score. Kid-friendly spooky, no gore.
Pumpkin Patch Panic
Pumpkin Patch Panic: a spooky but friendly Halloween collector game at night in a moonlit pumpkin patch with glowing jack-o'-lanterns, fog and a scarecrow. You play a kid in a witch hat collecting 20 glowing pumpkins before the cute floating ghosts catch you. Ghosts wander and chase when close; touching one costs a life (3 lives). Timer, pumpkin counter and lives in the HUD. Purple and orange colours, kid-friendly, no gore.
Haunted Mansion Escape
Haunted Mansion Escape: explore a spooky (not scary-gory) haunted mansion at night with candles, cobwebs, portraits and creaky furniture. Find 3 hidden golden keys spread across rooms, then reach the front door to escape. Friendly cartoon ghosts float through the halls; touching one sends you back to the last checkpoint. Flashlight glow around the player, HUD shows keys found. Kid-friendly Halloween mood, purple and green lights, no blood.

How to make yours
- Get Riffgame from the App Store or Google Play and start as a guest.

- Check the plan: title, goal, controls, camera and look. Change anything, then tap Build it.
- Play it, ask for changes like “add a pumpkin boss” or “make the fog thicker”, and share the link.
The full walkthrough with real screens is in the step-by-step guide.
Tips for a spooky game that works
- Give it a goal. “Collect 20 pumpkins”, “find 3 keys” or “survive 3 waves” makes a game you can finish.
- Say what can go wrong. Ghosts that chase you, lives, a timer.
- Set the mood with a few words. Full moon, fog, candles, orange lanterns, purple and green light.
- Keep it cartoon-spooky. Friendly ghosts and goofy zombies work best; gore isn't allowed.
- Start from a Halloween game. Remixing one of the games above costs 20 riffs instead of 40.
Questions
Can I make a Halloween game for free?
Playing games is free. Making one uses riffs: a new game is 40 riffs and a remix 20. New accounts get 40 free riffs, once per device, which is enough for one new game. See pricing.
How long does it take?
A new game usually takes 10 to 20 minutes. The three games on this page took 10, 14 and 16 minutes to build.
Do I need a computer or know how to code?
No. Everything happens in the app on your iPhone, iPad or Android phone. You write the idea in your own words, in any of 33 languages.
Can my friends play it without the app?
Yes. Every game gets its own link that plays in any modern browser, with no download or account.
How scary can a Riffgame game be?
Spooky is fine: ghosts, pumpkins, haunted houses, cartoon zombies. Graphic gore and real-world violence are not allowed by the community guidelines, and Riffgame is for ages 13 and up.
Is there a Halloween event in the app?
Yes. Halloween Build Week runs on the App Store until 31 October 2026, and the Create screen has Halloween ideas you can tap to build.
