Terms of Use

Last updated: 7 October 2026

Welcome to Riffgame. By using the app or this website you agree to the terms below, our Community Guidelines and our Privacy Policy. We've kept them as short as we could.

The service

Riffgame ("the service") lets you describe a game in plain words and get a playable 3D web game, built by AI and hosted at its own link on games.riffgame.com. You can also play, like, remix and share games made by other people. The service is operated by PitchCall, Inc. ("we").

Your account

The first time you open the app we create an account for you and ask your age once; you can play, make and post games without signing up. To keep your games safe when you change or reinstall your phone, you can link Sign in with Apple or Google. Once you have told us you are 18 or older, your new games are posted publicly by default under the username generated for you (Pro members can keep them private). If you are 13 to 17, your games stay private, and a game you share is unlisted: only people with its link can play it, and it cannot be remixed. Keep access to your Apple or Google account secure; anything done through your Riffgame account is your responsibility.

You must be at least 13 years old to use Riffgame, or older if the law of your country requires it (for example 16 in some EU countries). If you are under 18, use Riffgame with a parent's or guardian's permission. People under 13 cannot post games or have a public profile.

Purchases are tied to your Apple ID or Google account and can be restored with "Restore purchases" in Settings.

Community rules and zero tolerance

There is no tolerance for objectionable content or abusive users. You must follow the Community Guidelines. In short, you may not use Riffgame to make, post or share:

You also agree not to:

Moderation and enforcement

Every prompt is checked by automated filters before a game is built, and a game's title and description are checked again before it is shown publicly. Anyone can report a game or a profile and block another user from the ••• menu. We aim to review every report within 24 hours. When content breaks these terms or the Community Guidelines we remove it, and we may suspend or permanently ban the account that posted it, with or without notice. A game can be hidden automatically while a report is reviewed. If you think we made a mistake, email [email protected].

Your content

You keep any rights you have in your prompts and in the games generated from them. AI-generated material may not be protected by copyright in every country, and other people may get similar results from similar prompts.

You give us a worldwide, royalty-free, non-exclusive licence to host, store, copy, process, display and distribute your prompts and games, and to make screenshots and covers of them, in order to run and improve Riffgame and to show and promote games within Riffgame and on our channels (for example featuring a game on Home). This licence ends when you delete the content, except for copies other users already made as allowed below.

Public games and remixes. When a game of yours is public, any user may play and share it. If remixing is turned on for that game ("Allow remixes"), you also give other Riffgame users a licence to copy the game into their own account, change it and share their remix within Riffgame. Remixes copy the game, never your prompt. Remixes made before you removed a game stay with the people who made them.

You are responsible for what you ask the AI to make and what you post. Do not post content you do not have the rights to. We do not use your content for advertising or to train AI models.

Intellectual property complaints

If you believe a game on Riffgame infringes your copyright or trademark, report it in the app (reason "Copyright") or email [email protected] with: the link to the game, a description of your work, your contact details, and a statement that you are the rights holder (or authorised to act for them) and that the information is accurate. We remove infringing games and ban repeat infringers.

Riffs, subscriptions and packs

Building a game costs riffs. The app shows the price in riffs before you start a build. If a build fails, or you cancel it, the riffs are returned. Playing games is free. New devices get a one-time grant of free riffs; the amount is shown in the app.

Riffgame Pro is an auto-renewing subscription, sold weekly or monthly. Pro adds riffs every period and Pro features that are listed in the app before you buy. Riff packs are one-time purchases. On iOS they are sold through Apple's In-App Purchase; on Android through Google Play Billing. Prices are shown in the app in your local currency before you buy.

Generated games

Each game is real code written by AI, tested automatically and published to its own link. We do our best to check that games work, but we do not guarantee that any game will run on every device or browser, or that AI output is always accurate or suitable. Games open in an in-app browser view and run as ordinary web pages. Please report games that do not work or break the rules.

Availability

We aim for high availability, but the service is provided "as is" and "as available", without warranties of any kind to the extent the law allows. We may change, pause or stop features, and we may remove content or games, at any time.

Limitation of liability

To the maximum extent permitted by law, PitchCall, Inc. and its directors, officers, employees and contractors are not liable for indirect, incidental or consequential damages arising from your use of Riffgame. Our total liability for any claim is limited to the amount you paid us in the 12 months before the claim. Nothing in these terms limits rights you have under consumer protection laws that cannot be waived.

Ending your use

You can stop using Riffgame and delete your account at any time (Me → Settings → Delete account, or see riffgame.com/delete-account). We may suspend or close accounts that break these terms. If we close your account for reasons outside your control, we may refund unused pack riffs at our discretion.

App Store terms

If you downloaded Riffgame from Apple's App Store, Apple's Licensed Application End User License Agreement also applies. Apple is not responsible for Riffgame or its content, and has no obligation to provide support for it.

Changes

We may update these terms. Material changes will be announced in the app at least 14 days before they take effect. Continued use after that date means you accept the new terms.

Governing law

These terms are governed by the laws of the State of Delaware, USA, without regard to conflict of law principles. Disputes shall be resolved in the courts of Delaware, except where prohibited by your local consumer protection law.
